He has significant expertise in patent, trademark and copyright preparation, prosecution, enforcement and infringement defense, including patentability searches and opinions and infringement opinions. He has significant experience in the fields of electronics, digital systems and software development.

Education / Background

Mr. Garred earned his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (B.E.E.) from Gannon University in 1981.

He attended Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law where he received his Juris Doctor (J.D., 1984). He earned his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (M.S.E.E.) from Cleveland State University in 1993.
